I'm writing to thank you for my recent big jackpot win on Dec 18, 2009.
I knew I had won, but I thought it was a one-line win. The room was going crazy giving congrats to me and I thought wow nice people making a big deal out of me winning 6 bucks! lol. Then I looked at my account and couldn't believe my eyes! I started to shake!!!! Over 7,600 GBP were in my account and I started to shake!!!! I started typing OMG OMG over and over. I didn't even know you had a jackpot to be won. I was just killing time. It was my first time in that bingo room. This win has been surreal to say the least. Hello CH_Becki, hi dear bingo friends!
I took a last-minute break from work this week, so on Monday morning, while my wife was outside tending our beloved flower beds, I had time to sit down with a cup of coffee and my laptop to see if my luck had returned after deserting me for a long time.
As there weren’t many other players around at this early hour I only bought a few cards (20, I think). I noticed my card was filling up more and more, but as I wasn’t paying particular attention to the numbers being drawn I didn’t realise how many balls had already fallen.
Suddenly, the ‘Full House’ message appeared and to my surprise my account showed I’d won almost $10,000! I couldn’t believe it and had to look several times. It only really sunk in as more and more of my bingo friends congratulated me. I think it was CH_Humphrey whom I asked with how many balls I had won with, but I never received the reply because my laptop crashed…
I plan to use my winnings to travel to America so we can visit Orlando, Florida and Atlanta, Georgia to see our two godchildren as well as my brother and sister-in-law.

I'd like to start by saying TY to Joanne, Dana, and the whole team for your congratulatory remarks. I really do appreciate it. As you know when you (Joanne) and Dana called, I was so excited and hyper, lol.
It started out as a normal evening just like any other. I know I was playing one bought card, but can’t remember if I was playing a free one like i usually do. I've never played tons of cards.
So about 12:10 am ET, the game began as any other. I ended up sharing the one-line with "Beothucks" I think. I then won the two lines alone.
The card was filling up quite fast. Suddenly, I realised I was down to two numbers! I needed 48 and 52! If I remember correctly, 48 came out on the 34th number which set me for 52! All I could think of was c'mon 52! All of a sudden on the 36th number up popped 52!
I jumped off the loveseat and ran to my parent’s room and woke my parents up. I was saying, "Mom...Dad...Mom...Dad! I said "I just won over $21,000. They both flewww out of bed lol! At the same time I was trying to keep my voice down because my niece and nephew were spending the night and were in the room across from my parent’s room. They were in shock as much as I was. So I called customer service to inquire about cashing-out and they were very helpful btw. Since my win, I have received nothing but well wishes from all the roomies, which is very humbling. Many thanks to them!
I still haven’t decided what to do with the money, but I’m sure I will think of something!

I couldn't believe my eyes when more than £10,000 flashed up on my screen: it happened so fast that even when it showed on my balance I couldn't take it in. When my hubby, who was working away at Belvoir Castle for four days, rang me I blurted out the news He thought it was a wind-up!
Up until now, 2009 hasn't been a particularly happy year for us. My husband was made redundant at the end of 2008 and only started part-time work in June. Then we lost my precious Mam on 1st July, which was a really crushing blow. I've only played bingo for four or five days all month. Thank goodness I was playing last night.

I don’t keep what most people would call ‘regular hours’, so it was no surprise that, after spending four straight hours working at the computer, I looked at the clock and saw it was a little after 2 AM. That would send most people scurrying to bed, but I needed time for my mind to wind down after concentrating, and I knew that Fair ‘n Square was running in the Lilac Room. Perfect.
I logged into PartyBingo.com, opened the Lilac room and hit the ‘buy’ button. Soon I was watching the numbers pop up, and, of course, chatting a little with the roomies. I won the first line of the first game I played and thought this night might be good. It wasn’t long before that became a ridiculous understatement. It was only my sixth game, and I had already won a few lines in the first five. Then I won the first line of the sixth game. My tickets looked pretty good for getting the second line, so I watched close. Sure enough, I won that, too. But when the screen refreshed, I saw I only needed two more numbers for the full house. I had a shot at the hat trick. The first number was good, the second number missed, but the third number gave me the full house. I won £10! The roomies gave me a hearty ‘wd’ on the hat trick, and then someone said ‘Hey – where did the Jackpot go?” I looked, and sure enough, it was gone. Then I saw my username in the chat window and it didn’t look the same as when you win a normal game. In fact, I had to look several times, because it said ‘Odd_Tzar has won £64,254.12!’. I looked up at my account balance, and there it was! I looked around in a circle at the chat window, the Jackpot window and my account balance about 5 times before I figured out what had happened. By then, others were starting to see that something had happened, too, and it wasn’t long before the whole room was jumping up and down (a ‘virtual reality’ kind of up and down). It was so cool to see that everyone was happy that I’d won. It shows how great the roomies and CH’s are.
I thought that my wife probably wouldn’t mind if I woke her up at 2:30 AM if I had a good enough reason, so, after a few minutes hesitation, I got her up. I got her to look at my account balance, partly to show off, and partly because I needed her to tell me it was real. People say stuff like this feels like a dream, but when you go through it a 3 AM, it’s much worse. Well, once my wife and then my daughter had convinced me (and themselves) it was real, we started making plans. New cars, a new kitchen, maybe even a trip to Australia (my daughter said ‘no’ to that one right away – she’s such a PartyBingo pooper). After a while we started getting a little more conservative – mortgage, credit cards and such. But, over the next few sleepless hours, it just didn’t matter. We kept on throwing out crazy ideas, and probably spent the money 37 times in our minds.
We finally decided to spend it only once – but spend it, we will.

I never gave the Winter Sunshine prize draw a second thought to be honest, so when the chat host telephoned me this morning, it was a very big surprise.
I was actually playing bingo when you rang. My husband answered the telephone, but when he passed it to me and said who it was, I didn't have the slightest clue as to why you would be ringing me. As it turned out, I am very glad you did.
I chose the cash prize of 1,500 GBP as I don't really like spa breaks. In fact, the money will come in very handy as my daughter is currently backpacking in Australia and she's running out of money fast. Now I can surprise her and give her a little treat.
My other daughter is going to Italy with college on a beauty course, so I will now ensure she has plenty to go with. I can then treat my youngest daughter and my son who will both be delighted with a little cash present. Maybe I'll treat my husband who very kindly puts my money on bingo for me to play.

My Genie wish is to pack my bags, and hop a plane with my children and husband to Disney World where " itslikemagic" to celebrate Christmas! I really enjoy my bingo and signed up online after thinking: "Yes, why not? Let's give it a go." While playing my bingo online I tend to watch the chat more than join in because everyone seems to be a much quicker at typing than me, lol.
I was speaking to my neighbour the other day about online bingo and she said that no-one wins. Well, I said don't believe that - of course people win!
I had just got myself comfortable; the housework was done and my husband had gone to the office. It was peace and quiet with no kids - just me, a cuppa and my bingo.
I wasn't really concentrating when I saw that I had won a full house. Wow!
